I am a software engineer, musician, and lover of classic cars, living in Santa Barbara, California.

I received a BA in Music, emphasis in Harpsichord Performance, from UCSB in 1977, and a Master of Sacred Music degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2007.

I used to drive a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair (in 2004-05), and am a member of The Barbershop Harmony Society, singing in quartets as well as a small championship chorus called Pacific Sound.

I was an early member (1986-1988) of The Great Northern Union.
