- Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
- If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
- Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
- You might want to add yourself to the New User Log

Please look at other Wikipedia articles, and at the help pages, to see how articles should be written and presented. For example, you've just removed my attempts to begin to put this article into Wikipedia style, as well as adding lots of section headings in capitals. I've reverted back to the version that I'd last saved; when you add your new material, please do so in the correct style. If you need help with that, feel free to contact me. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 13:04, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- The thing to do is to create a page in your own user space (e.g., User:Sawantve/Sri Sri Anukulchandra Thakur), get the article into Wikipedia order there, and then move it to the article space. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 08:54, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I've just discovered that you have again reverted my attempt to start putting this article into Wikipedia style. Please stop doing that. We don't want headings in all-capitals, and there's a standard Wikipedia style for presenting basic information in biographies. Why do you insist on going against that? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:17, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
And I find that you've again messed up the Wikified summary. I also note that you've cut and pasted part of this article from here. It's essential that the relevant parts of the article be rewritten as soon as possible; Wikipedia doesn't allow copyright material to be used in articles without explicit and verifiable consent from the copyright holder.
I've also moved the article to the correct title, and removed some duplicate material & links. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 11:19, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Could you use edit summaries? It's Wikipedia policy, and makes it much easier for other editors to see what's going on. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 11:14, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Ssthakur.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ssthakur.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Carnildo or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Magna Dicta, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from the original poem. As a copyright violation, Magna Dicta appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Magna Dicta has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:Magna Dicta. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at Magna Dicta, after describing the release on the talk page. However, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Ssbohio 05:10, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Messages of Thakur Anukulchandra
[edit]Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Messages of Thakur Anukulchandra, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Messages of Thakur Anukulchandra. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. NickelShoe (Talk) 15:53, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Messages of Thakur Anukulchandra, while interesting, is not an encyclopedia article. It's source text. As such, it should go to Wikisource and be linked from Thakur Anukulchandra. Since wikisource only accepts text in the public domain or with a GFDL copyright licence, I need to know whether the text and its translation are released as such. Satchhidanandaghana vigraha
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Satchhidanandaghana vigraha, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. MasterXC 00:30, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
The article Yaajan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This is not an article - there is no fact - only a vague expression of faith in an even more vague spiritual entity that may or may not exist. This sort of thing makes a mockery of the concept of encyclopedia.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MarkDask 10:05, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Sambhaji. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 17:28, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Self-realization, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. tgeorgescu (talk) 19:47, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
