American English/"British English" spellings
[edit]Wikipedia accepts both American and English spellings, with the caveat that an article should use one or the other. The rule is that that the first used spelling should be standard for articles, except in the case of articles which have some sort of connection to a country or region where one spelling or the other was used. - You must be from around the coast of NH! You seem to know so much about there. Icelandic Hurricane (talk • contribs • count) 12:40, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Would you mind uploading an image of Goody Cole? I've tried, but any images I scan some reason won't upload. Icelandic Hurricane #12 12:37, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Clarksville, NH, historical facts questioned
[edit]I have made an entry for discussion on Clarksville, New Hampshire which begins:
- "The article states that Clarksville was 'known as Dartmouth College Grant until 1872'. This does not appear to be accurate...."
Since you seem to the be one who added the statement, I thought you might be a logical source for clarification, even if you get this after I've made the proposed changes. Thanks. Lupinelawyer 02:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
NowCommons: File:CA 50th 109th Congress.gif

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
