Larry Speakes (born September 13 1939) was the spokesman for the White House under President Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1987.

(When James Brady was shot in the assination attempt on President Regan in 1981, he was unable to return to work, though he retained the title of "Press Secretary" for the duration of Reagan's term. Others served under various titles.)
