what is this
[edit]is an important contractual agreement Microsoft uses with schools, positives and negatives should be added from a non-student perspective. - [[User:Cohesion|cohesion ☎]] 08:14, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Microsoft Campus Agreement
[edit]Ifanyone' watching this, this whole page is wrong. A Microsoft Campus Agreement is a variant of a Microsoft Enetrprise Subscription Agreement in that it is designed to provide an annualised subscription cost for the three main components of MS desktop licensing - Windows, Office, and CALs. Most of what is mentioned here is more to do with the side benfits of the agreement, and not the real costs to the institution concerned. I might be able to write a new article around this, but I have at least 2 that I want to write first, so if anyone else is watching and ould care to take a stab.... --Brecker 20:54, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

sections
[edit]The "sections" tag is on this article... however there are no obvious ways to section this article. It's fairly short... I'm going to remove the tag, but feel free to add it again if someone has a real idea what sections should be here brain 23:51, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
info
[edit][2] has some interesting info. it says the deal was created in 1998 with the university of texas and indiana university serving as its pilots. [3] suggests the cost to the university is over 1 million. [4] says that the university of texas paid 6.3 million in 1998 and that the deal received some criticism by people who thought microsoft was expanding its monopoly.
