I'm going to remove the following list of Walkers from the List of people by name:_Wal#Walker for the time being (as long as they do not have their own articles):

Walker

[edit]

Also, should be included here: The term "walker" refers to a man, often gay, who escorts genteel ladies of some social standing to events because their husbands are unavailable or uninterested.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.45.252 (talk) 05:48, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Family crest"?

[edit]

First, it's not a crest, it's a coat of arms. Second, there's no such thing as a "family coat of arms" in the UK. (And certainly not in the US!) Arms are borne by single members of a family. The coat of arms may well stand for the family generally, but the only person who has the right to use it is the one who is granted that right or inherits it.

Third, this image has no copyright information. Copyright belongs to the person who created the image, even if the general form of the arms is public domain, since there is considerable latitude in how the blazon and its various elements are expressed. So I'm tagging it, IP address though I am. 192.91.173.42 (talk) 03:22, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

*Travis Walker (dancer) Trey McIntyre Project. US.

[edit]

Anybody knows something about this addition to the page? If you follow the links it leads to a dance school, but I can't find the name in any place yet. Thanks. Historiador (talk) 09:41, 4 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
