The name is more often transliterated as Karthikeya/Karthikeyan. The dental `t' is usually (mis-)transliterated as `th' by many. Even if the dental `t' is transliterated as just `t', it would be Kartikeya/Kartikeyan (which also seems acceptable). But why is it called Karttikeya? IMHO this must be moved to Karthikeya or Kartikeya. -- Paddu 19:46, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)
