"High bridge" construction date incorrect
[edit]Construction of this bridge/viaduct was begun in 1936 and completed in 1938, NOT in the 1960's ([1]). This bridge led to the eventual demise of Foster, since it was now effectively bypassed. There is still a bridge in that location, but it is mainly used by local traffic. Foster is now just another stop along the Little Miami Scenic Trail.
Correct Name?
[edit]Currently the article is on Fosters, Ohio and Foster, Ohio redirects to this page. Most maps (google, mapquest, Microsoft Streets, and Rand Mcnally) list it as "Foster" without the 's'. The Warren County Genealogical Society page on the official warren county website (place names] says it was changed to "Foster" when the bridge was built in 1900. However, this 1932 plat book shows it as Fosters. Maybe some more research needs to be done as to the correct article, redirect, and opening sentence.Mbeatty 07:09, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
