Litchfield New Hampshire
A small town in the southern part of New Hampshire, population around 7000. A High School was recently built adding to the allure of this traditional small town USA. Other educational facilities include a middle and elementary school. The town also has a library, fire department, police department, and several parks.
The parks are the highlight of this town, Roy Memorial Park provides a safe place for sports such as soccer, baseball, softball, swimming, and also has a well equipped Skate Park in good condition. Other parks feature excellent hiking and biking opportunities.
For industry, Litchfield has 2 golf courses and a mini golf course. Two restaurants, an arcade, and several pizza houses also provide entertainment.
Religion is covered by 3 churches and several smaller movements (Presbyterian, Catholic, Protestant). Among these smaller movments are atheists, Buddhists, and Wiccan’s, and people of the Jewish faith.
Litchfield is stunning in the fall with the changing of the leaves. The small rural roads accent the over all feel of ‘New England’ in the fall, making many great photo opportunities. These continue into the winter months, with snow filled landscapes.
In the tradition of the settlers, Litchfield has a small farming community.
